KOHO’s Coworking experience will be ‘shoes off’
By honoring this cultural tradition of Japan, we see this as a way to show respect for place, maintain cleanliness, and acknowledge the transition from the outside world to a more peaceful, sacred space at KOHO.
We encourage you to bring your favorite slippers, wear your favorite socks. In June, we will have a selection of socks and slippers to purchase if needed.

KOHO strives to support artists, creators, and collaborators to share their gifts and talents to our membership and beyond!
As a valued member with paid memberships of 6 consecutive months or more, you’ll receive the opportunity of Producing Your Own Workshop in addition to the features and amenities above.
The benefit includes:
Plan quarterly workshops in our space FREE for up to 20 people
Charge what you wish and create additional revenue for yourself
Workshops must be open to all KOHO coworking members. KOHO event restrictions apply. All workshop requests will be reviewed and must be approved by KOHO staff. KOHO has the right to decline or make adjustments based upon content, space availability and requested furniture configuration.

KOHO can be accessed by the sliding door beside the US Bank ATMs on Post Street. KOHO also has doors on the 2nd floor of Japan Center’s East Mall (down the hall from the elevators of the Japan Center Main Garage).

Convenient in-building paid parking in the Japan Center Garage and metered street parking.

A portion of your dollars also support the Japan Center Community Fund, a way to provide essential funds to organizations like ours who put on events and activities that highlight our Japantown merchant corridor, our the legacy of our Japantown community, and the people who help our cultural district thrive!
Parking at the Japan Center Garage is more affordable than street meters all thanks to our Japantown stakeholders advocating for community benefits after the effects of the redevelopment era of the 1960s and '70s. We’re thankful for the Japan Center Garage, SFMTA, and the City and County of San Francisco for their commitment to sustaining this vibrant neighborhood.
Metered Parking is free on Sundays. 2-Hour parking is available on surrounding streets.
