KOHO invites you to be a vendor or community partner at DESTINATION NIHONMACHI, KOHO's Art and Culture Crawl, on Saturday, October 26, 2024 in Japantown. The event will take place along the Japantown merchant corridor on Post Street between Laguna and Webster.

At DESTINATION NIHONMACHI, a night in SF Japantown, is designed to bring a new audience to Japantown, support the merchant corridor and entrepreneurs with revenue opportunities, and provide an immersive experience of authenticity and discovery for our Japantown community, our displaced families, and visitors from San Francisco and the greater Bay Area. Visitors will navigate Japantown to various pop-ups; Tokyo City Pop Social Club at the KOHO Creative Hub, go back in time to the “Harlem of the West” with live jazz 🎶 at the Kabuki Hotel, and shop vendors at the 🛍️ KOHO Ichiba (“market” in Japanese) in the Kinokuniya Mall while exploring all Japantown has to offer in between.

Vendor Pricing Breakdown

$50 Booth Fee + $25 Refundable Security Deposit* = $75

One six foot table and 2 folding chairs are available for additional $25 fee.

  • We charge a 10% Revenue Share (your sales before taxes) to keep the event economically viable and pass on the savings to you as a lower Booth Fee. 10% of your revenue is due at the end of the event.

  • $25 REFUNDABLE Security deposit will be applied toward 10% revenue share.

  • If you're not accepted, we will refund your Booth Fee & Refundable Security Deposit.

Vendor Requirements

  • All vendors must use Square, Paypal, or other POS system that can provide a daily sales report.

  • All vendors need to provide their own Wi-Fi access for their POS system.

  • Cash sales must be entered into Square, Paypal, or other POS system.

  • Commit to event hours

  • Help promote the event and Vendor Marketplace via your social media pages and email blasts.

Community Organizations

One six foot table and 2 folding chairs are included with Community Organization registration. Any sales of items at your booth will require a CA Sellers Permit.
